Concluding Gender Equality Month: Celebrating Female Voices Across the Business

Success means different things to different people. To hear more and to conclude Gender Equality Month, we celebrated female voices in our business with a special webinar.

We listened to a panel of six women from across the business share their stories of successes, challenges and how they navigate their space to continue to develop in the industry. Our goal was to inspire everyone, especially our women developing their careers and searching for role models in the industry.

Among many topics discussed were: women in tech, imposter syndrome, positive actions, workplace taboo, motherhood, pregnancy and maternity. Another key topic was role modelling and mentoring, and the importance of women supporting women in the workplace.

The session was intended to kick start everyday workplace and societal conversations. There was also a focus on encouraging people to challenge themselves and others to use their voices. Whether you are an executive leader, line manager, colleague, friend, brother, sister, husband, mother, or father, your voice matters and should be heard. Although the months’ worth of great activities and initiatives surrounding Gender Equality Month has concluded, conversations toward positive change continue!
