Jack Heys | Product Executive | Leeds, UK

Meet Jack, a Product Executive who has been with PokerStars since October 2020. In his role Jack works within the Player Experience Team for the MarTech products and the Stars CRM. He is responsible for improving the tool and in turn the business, taking items that land on the product roadmap and meeting with relevant stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.

It’s a role that Jack finds fascinating, with a real sense of achievement knowing conceptualisation through to delivery comes to life right in front of your very eyes.

A model new starter

We all approach our first day in a new job with different feelings. Excitement, nerves and curiosities often fill the air. For Jack, he had two reasons to celebrate. His maiden day with PokerStars happened to be his birthday, and he turned down the opportunity to take an additional day off to get started immediately.

Jack also had all the right tools for the job when applying to work at PokerStars. When looking into his past experiences, it’s almost as if he was destined to work for a global sports betting company.

“At university I studied Sports Business and Marketing. I’ve always liked betting and worked at Ladbrokes part time during my studies. Once my education had finished, I wanted to stay in the industry, working as a customer support executive and then moving into betting services.”

“I was the anchor between the commercial and product team, and it was the latter I really wanted to do. Thankfully, I found the right role at PokerStars.”
