The role: We are looking for an ABC (Anti-bribery and Corruption) Program Operational Manager to join our busy and diverse team which is primarily based in the Isle of Man!
Why we need you
Due to Flutter International’s extensive, and growing, international presence and the related increase in complexity and exposure to ABC legislative and regulatory regimes, we need you to join our established ABC team with a focus on the ongoing delivery, implementation and embedding of the various ABC Programme elements. You’ll report to the Head of Anti Bribery & Corruption. The ABC team sits within the Legal & Risk Function.
You’ll be focused on the day-to-day implementation across the business of the zero-tolerance Bribery & Corruption statements made in the Group and Division policies. Ensuring appropriate awareness of controls, application, and adherence to adequate procedures requirements; adapting to changing and new business, sector, legal and regulatory landscapes.
You’ll be responsible for implementation and embedding of all elements of the ABC programme which is constructed around both US DoJ Compliance Programmes and UK Bribery Act Adequate procedures guidance. You can expect to run the Supervised third parties’ programme, including training and record keeping requirements of this process; working closely with relationship managers of High Risk Third Parties, and those delivering other gatekeeper roles in relation to ABC (e.g. accounts payable, business and market development and other relevant internal departments). You should expect to be reviewing due diligence, assessing contracts for appropriate regulatory clauses, prompting for compliance certifications and supplier code of conduct adoption; and being ready to report upon request to management on the risk profile of our third-party relationships.
We will call upon you as the person in the team closest to business operations for information to advise the ABC Risk Assessment, ensure training remains relevant, make recommendations for process changes, and assist with incident management should incidents occur.
You will get the opportunity to advise the business on new projects and initiatives to ensure ABC considerations are made at the appropriate time and that the ABC control environment is understood and is appropriately implemented when projects are up and running.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll be someone with relevant corporate experience in Anti Bribery and Corruption, perhaps having worked in the extractive, pharmaceutical or construction industry. You’ll have a working knowledge of FCPA and DoJ Compliance Programme requirements and the UK Bribery Act Adequate Procedures. This is a very operational and consequently very busy role, so we’ll expect you to be a well organised individual who works unsupervised in planning and prioritizing your own work, with the ability to handle large workloads to meet deadline pressures and of course, you’ll have excellent attention to detail with the ability to deliver high quality work and maintain records of work conducted on which the company may need to rely on. You’ll have a genuine interest in Anti Bribery and Corruption and financial crime identification, investigation and prevention!
