The role: Accounts Analyst (12 Month FTC)

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our busy and dynamic Analytics team in our Isle of Man office.

Why we need you:

You will work within a busy Accounts department that services a worldwide organisation including multi-currency, multi-jurisdictional invoice and account processing, supplier payments, and many other varied internal finance functions of a worldwide, fast paced e-gaming company. Full training will be provided, and the key responsibilities include:

  • Process Purchase Orders into the computerised accounts system
  • Verify entries to ledger balances and prepare supplier payments
  • Correspond and build relations with suppliers and internal business units and respond to queries
  • Understand probity and contractual requirements.
  • Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensure credit is received for outstanding credit notes.
  • Understand, review and record multi-jurisdictional VAT by calculating requirements on invoices.
  • Protect organisation’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Who are we looking for

  • At least 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above including Maths
  • Good computer skills including excel and the ability to operate computerised accounts systems
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong customer service focus
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, general accounting procedures and relevant accounting software
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • 2-3 years accounts payable or financial experience
  • A standout colleague and well organised.
