Why we need you

We need you to provide administrative and record management support to this busy team; helping them with record keeping, organising online and face to face training sessions, maintaining registers, reporting and much more.  This role requires you to assist with the compilation of statistics for monthly reporting, support mangers with significant workloads, maintain registers and keep excellent records of all the work that this team conducts, minutes of meetings to disclosed investigation files.

You’ll report to the ABC Monitoring Manager but lend support to all the senior managers and their financial crime specialities; helping prepare files for HR, for International Risk Committee meetings, internal Audits, meetings and where necessary external regulators.

Who we’re looking for

You will have experience working in the regulated sector in either a financial crime or perhaps legal support role.  You’ll have a genuine interest in the whole spectrum of financial crime matters (not necessarily direct experience of working in this field), and demonstrate an exceptional level of attention to detail with organisational skills that your track record will evidence are second to none.  You’ll have a proven history of supporting senior managers and recognising the importance of proper, effective filing systems; with experience of managing large volumes of data, relevant to thousands of staff across a multi-jurisdictional environment.

You will be a very well-organised individual with an ability to prioritise large volumes of work with potentially changing deadline pressures. You will be a key resource to all the team, so we’re looking for a candidate that is used to communicating effectively and efficiently supporting varied management styles.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

Excellently kept, maintained and retrievable books and records are the company’s first defense when faced with legislative breaches and key in the mitigation of criminal, civil and regulatory fines and sanctions; as a result this is a very important appointment and as an ideally candidate you will recognize and demonstrate experience in working at this level in this sort of environment.

The ability to build and maintain good working relationships with the senior managers and other team members, as well as senior leaders in the organization.

Some knowledge of Anti Bribery and Corruption and International Sanctions books and records requirements would be beneficial.
