We are looking for an experienced, senior, security engineering leader to join the growing information security team within the International Division of Flutter Entertainment PLC. Flutter owns and operates a series of world-renowned sports betting, online casino, and poker brands. These include Poker Stars, Sky Bet, Betfair, Paddy Power, Fanduel and Sportsbet. This role is focused on our international division and specifically the Poker Stars Poker, Casino, and Sports Betting brands.
Our tech teams can work remotely within country, occasionally you’ll need to come to the office. Not often, but up to 4-5 times a month and of course, we’ll cover all related expenses. Why we need you:
The Security Team within international is on a journey to move to its next level of capability and maturity. To do this, we need to evolve how the team works whilst also initiating and tracking several key programs of work around information security. These programs of work include the creation of a new application and player product security function to ensure that the products we build for our players are secure and protect all the sensitive information assets that we hold. We also build and operate enterprise systems and infrastructure for our own needs which need to be built and operated securely.
Who are we looking for:
This is a senior leadership role; it reports to the Director of Information Security. The ideal candidate must be an expert in building and then leading security engineering teams. We want someone who is a strong leader but also understands the theory and practice of secure software development and infrastructure security in detail.
A key aspect of the role will be the positioning of the security engineering capability as we move to a secure dev-ops model and agile methodology. We need the successful candidate to ensure that we are embedding security expertise into the delivery tribes and project teams.
The ideal candidate must also be experienced in leading teams that have been successful in the secure build and design of enterprise/corporate infrastructure and applications. We need to ensure that employees can get the job done without exposing any of our sensitive information assets.
Candidates must have extensive experience of leading teams that work with product, delivery, and infrastructure teams throughout their development cycle, integrating security in a non-blocking manner and educating along the way. Candidates must show strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Candidates must have experience in leading teams that have built effective SAST, DAST and IAST capabilities with integration into pipeline and automation tools such as Jenkins. Knowledge of tools such as the Burp suite, (OWASP) ZAP. Nessus and Qualys and their integration and use within the SDLC and secure infrastructure is a key requirement. Our core platform is built on C++ and we need candidates who have experience beyond traditional web platforms and technologies.
Experience in the development and rollout of bug bounty programs such as HackerOne is highly desirable.
We run our infrastructure using a private cloud model but are moving more of these workloads to the public cloud. The ideal candidate will have led security engineering teams that have successfully built secure SDLC and infrastructure programmes on top of AWS and Kubernetes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and development of measurement capabilities that can clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of the secure SDLC program.
