We are looking for an AD of Services – to join our busy and dynamic leadership team!
Why we need you:
Being a part of Flutter International’s Infrastructure & Enterprise IT leadership team, this role is about leading service management across the division. Providing a service function to all departments in Flutter international and influencing the departments ITSM function.
Business Strategy – Work with the leadership team across International to develop and drive our service strategy ensuring service is at the heart of everything we do.
People Leadership – Lead and build a team to drive the Service Strategy across the Division.
Best in Class – lead our teams to deliver the best in class services for our customers across the globe.
Service Transition – Your team will be responsible for the management of activities to ensure that applications/systems being developed meet all operational requirements before getting introduced to the Production environment.
First line support – Responsible for our 24×7 1st Line Support Service Desk supporting all departments in the division.
Incident Management – You’ll be responsible for in-flight incident management including out of hours. Ensuring all departments have suitable 2nd and 3rd line support teams to keep our Service running 24×7. Ensuring teams can be suitably coordinated.
Change Management – Work with Engineering to ensure all departments have appropriate change management. Capable of occurring in a high-frequency release agile environment. This includes responsibilities such as assessing and validation of changes and acting as a representative for change management in the tribes.
Ensure we understand our position – Governance and oversight of all the international brands Service. Making sure we capture the data needed and present it to the leadership team and engineering teams, so the state of our service can be understood and compliment the service strategy
Cross-Group Service Management – Coordinate with other divisions across the Flutter Group to coordinate the Service strategy and share best practices.
Compliance – Work with Legal and compliance teams to ensure that our service meets the regulatory demands of the territories we operate in.
Enabling Technologies – Responsible for the teams providing enabling technologies to support the service function including: CMDB/ITAM, Jira, Confluence for the division. Ensuring any team in the division can easily use these tools.
Who are we looking for:
You’ll have experience in leading Service teams in an evolving and dynamic environment, ideally in online betting & gaming or similar web/mobile-scale industry where software is always-on, and customer experience is always more than a consideration.
You will have a reputation for thought leadership, strategic thinking and come with a strong service background. You’ll also need a proven ability to take and influence technical decisions in a fast-moving commercial environment. You’ll be a committed team player who demonstrates exceptional communication, interpersonal skills and consistent high energy levels, who recognises the importance of people in technology solutions. You are also an analytic problem solver with a strong sense of autonomy, but with an open collaborative approach to getting the job done.
