The role: We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Business Development team in Dublin or London.
Why we need you
You will play a key role in supporting the BD team in delivering their objectives, as part of the wider CSO function! They will deliver insights, analysis, projects, and recommendations to support the international market entry process, the execution of joint ventures and the securing of existing revenues in some of our key B2C markets as well as from our live B2B and exchange partners!
Who we’re looking for
You will conduct in-depth commercial & market-level research to assist the BD team in setting strategic priorities. Perform strategic and commercial analysis of potential opportunities and present recommendations to senior leaders within the CSO team and the wider business.
Prepare materials, such as presentations, reports and recommendations, crafted to concisely update senior management on relevant areas of interest. Assist in the identification and analysis of potential opportunities globally. Build strong internal relationships, especially with Flutter International B2C teams to keep the wider BD team abreast of key developments within our core business.
You will identify, engage with, and build positive relationships with key potential partners with whom Flutter may have a commercial interest. Prepare materials, such as presentations, tender documents and proposals crafted to win new business and secure new revenue streams for the Flutter Group.
Autonomously build up a knowledgebase of insightful data (by region, market, product, competitor, potential partner) and interpret this info before making concise recommendations about specific opportunities or trends in our industry. Analysis of the performance and returns of historic BD deals and how that might impact decision making for potential opportunities.
You will lead on key strategic projects for the wider BD team. Establish, own, and maintain the relationship with key external partners. Build high level partner and market profitability models with scenario analysis included to help assess the commercial structures available to us. Familiarise oneself with all areas of the business, to engage with internal and external parties in an informed manner.
Some travel will be required, as the Business Development team has a global remit. You will represent the Group at industry conferences and events in an informed and professional way.
