We are looking for a Data Product Owner to join our busy and dynamic Business Intelligence team in our London office.

Why we need you

You will join a dynamic team at the heart of driving the use of Machine Learning in online Gaming Products. Whilst gaining invaluable experience as a Product Owner in Big Data and Machine Learning. This role is a mid-to-senior level role with opportunities for progressions

• Reporting to the Senior Data Product Manager you will be responsible for managing end-to-end release of multiple data-science driven features
• Working closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, BI Analysts and Product Owner/Managers across the business to ensure Data / Machine Learning projects are well scoped
• Own and prioritise the roadmap to deliver value in short and longer term
• Experience writing ‘good enough’ requirements – in either Epic/User Story format or lightweight BRD
• Flexibility to work with a range of stakeholders with differing processes and align roadmaps to deliver value for the business and our customers

Who we’re looking for

• Data-savvy Product Owner with previous experience in a dynamic business
• Graduated in a technical / scientific discipline or equivalent experience
• Good data analysis skills preferred – eg using Excel, Python, SQL
• Some experience in a data-focused or technical role and able to talk confidently with Machine Learning Engineers
• Interested in Machine Learning and Data Science
• Good communication skills and able to interact with stakeholders at all levels from Directors and Product Managers to Data Engineers and Data Scientists
• Organised and focused with a proactive can-do approach
• Can learn quickly about complex business processes and systems
• Experience of Agile processes and can take a pragmatic approach to delivery

As the ideal candidate, you will have:-

• Understanding of Linux / Apache Hadoop tech stack is desirable.
• Understanding of stream processing technologies like kafka, spark, flink
• Understanding of Big Data architecture patterns
