The role: Department Head, Campaign Management (Maternity cover)

We are looking for an interim Department Head, Campaign Management to join our rapidly growing Stars Creative team, based in our Leeds service office for 9-12 months.

Why we need you:

We are an in-house creative agency, which provides service to the teams producing PokerStars global and local advertising across TV, press, partnerships, digital and social across our verticals (Poker, Sportsbook and Casino).

As our Department Head, Campaign Management, you will be responsible for supervising the day to day running of PokerStars campaign management team, assisting various markets and other business units. You will work very closely with the strategy function and the external agencies in helping to resolve brand and communications strategies across all brands and verticals.

You will assist in the delivery of quality creative solutions across all media in line with Group management approved briefs and budget, on time, on brief and in line with the brand attitude. You manage large pre-set budgets and will strive to maintain high standards of creative quality. You’ll provide the team feedback on briefs, creative and general activity and be the gate keeper of anything leaving the team.

Who are we looking for:

We are looking for a highly experienced creative marketing professional with either/both client-side or agency background. Your experience should include TTL marketing, preferably at a global level.

You will need proven project management / account management experience and be well organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise key projects. You’ll need team management experience and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor the dialogue and delivery to cater for a variety of audiences. You will need strong analytical and decision-making skills to be able to handle the range of responsibilities this role will offer.

You’ll be experienced in a range of creative advertising outputs, but also have experience managing content, influencer campaigns and partnerships as this will be a big focus in 2021.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

Creative agency experience is preferable and any experience within mobile or the gaming sector and knowledge of Poker would be desirable.
