Why we need you
As the Design Lead for Marketing Technology, you will lead a team of User Experience Architects, UX Writers and UI Designers to deliver engaging experiences for our customers. Being the design lead for MarTech strategy, means helping to define experiences that reward our customers and improve their engagement with the product. You will inspire through practice by been a true advocate for user-centred design and holding those you lead to the same high standards. You will actively collaborate with UX & UI field leads, Product and Development teams to secure consistency across all products.
Who we’re looking for
You will be a lead practitioner for a key business area, ensuring standard methodology and a high-quality output. You will build and foster key relationships with your product peers and business partners
You will own the vision for design strategy for MarTech, collaborating with cross-brand peers to ensure the best experiences for all users. You will work with your product colleagues on maintaining the MarTech roadmaps for design, ensuring priorities align with the overall business goals
Even though this is not a managerial role you will play a key role in mentoring a team of hardworking designers and UX practitioners. You will work closely with UX & UI leads to manage resource allocation for your group, ensuring you have the support to delivery on your ambition
You have knowledge and understanding of information architecture and interaction design across a variety of devices, touchpoints and platforms. Working closely with Market Research and Business Intelligence and be responsible for making sure we design and build the best MarTech experiences for our customers that are aligned with our overall brand strategy.
You will be an advocate for user research, championing the involvement of customers during product design and development, ensuring insights are shared and understood. You understand the value of a cross business design system and ensure that your team’s experiences contribute and adhere to standards. You understand the value of shared research and ensure that your team’s experience contribute to a group customer research repository
You will form part of the CXD management team to help embed seamless processes and collaborate on the delivery of outstanding cross channel designs.
You will have significant experience working as an in-house UX or UI Practitioner with comprehensive understanding of user centred design, in a similar senior / lead role and you’re looking to make the step up.
Experience of being an integral part of a UX & Design team within an in-house environment, working collaboratively in cross-functional teams with designers, product managers and developers.
You will be a strong communicator and be able to build on current relationships and create new ones within the business and encourage your team to do the same.
You will have the ability to lead through your actions and encourage a team through the work that you produce.
The ability to critique and constructively give feedback, in a way that challenges, while fostering a culture where people feel safe to fail and push themselves. Have experience creating experiences for all channels (responsive and native) and be proficient in Axure Figma, and other UX/prototyping tools.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
Experience working in the online gaming or other regulated industry and working on products/brands across different geographies and countries is desirable.
You will have a knowledge and a real passion for the latest UX & UI practices, tools and industry standards, that extends outside of the 9-5, engaging actively in the UX & design community.
