The role: We are looking for a Design Operations Manager to join our lively and dynamic Product Design team based in our Leeds office.

This role will be essential as the team looks to scale and expand its remit. We’ve grown from 5 individuals based in Leeds to 14 within the space of a year, bringing challenges operationally to our team and design process. We currently work across the full breadth of products, with a focus on rewards, account management, cashier and responsible gaming.
A focus on scalability is crucial as we expand into broader areas of the business. You will have a significant strategic contribution in the day-to-day running and culture of the design team, helping with strategic projects at the heart of the world’s largest public online gaming business, with funding and opportunities to match our huge ambition.

Who we’re looking for
You will be a strong communicator to come in and build successful relationships with key business areas, aiding fellow designers, our research and insights teams, product managers, marketing executives, developers, business analysts and solutions architects.
You’ll be a specialist in crafting the organisation and optimisation of critical relationships into a workflow and process that supports the team, as well as managing team rituals and a structure for regular meetings.
Someone who understands the design process, someone who can join conversations and help remove blockers for our Designers and UX Architects to reach their full potential.
Someone who has experience in the hiring and the interview process to ensure a consistent and humanising experience for candidates through establishing an onboarding practice to set up new team members for success.
You will craft quality through consistent toolsets and processes—auditing and carrying out the use of the same design tools business-wide for efficient collaboration.
You’ll have experience in helping organise cross-business initiatives that allow us to work as a team of teams but also expand design intelligence in the business so that we all work from the same shared understanding.
Mentoring more junior members of the team. Even though the role may not be a direct managerial role, you will have influence helping to define team ways of working and standard methodologies.
This role requires you to have experience using Microsoft office and tools such as Jira and confluence.
