The Role: Graduate Systems Analyst

We are recruiting a Graduate Systems Analyst to join our Poker team in Richmond Hill!

Why we need you:

As a member of the wider Poker Development team, you will play a key part in growing Stars Group’s poker business as well as working on various cross-functional integration and improvements projects.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an individual with a solid grasp of the SDLC in both agile and waterfall environments and is comfortable working with international multi-functional teams!

Your experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in a discipline such as Computer Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
  • Ability to communicate effectively in speaking and writing with both business and technical audiences
  • Previous experience working collaboratively with geographically distributed teams
  • Problem solver with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously and manage conflicts
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative and learn quickly
  • Analytical skills, self-reliance, and resilience


  • Passion for poker and a strong understanding of its many variants
  • Experience in the gambling and/or gaming industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel – Pivot Tables, Index/Match, etc.
  • Comfortable with producing functional documentation from scratch or based on high level business cases, in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with gap analysis and learning complex technical systems
  • Experience in producing mockups and UI/UX diagrams
