The role: Head of Product Data

We are looking for a Head of Product Data to join our lively and dynamic Analytics team in our Isle of Man office.

Why we need you:

We are seeking a talented leader for the position of Head of Product Data to help us take our behavioural analytics, personalisation and data product management to the next level.

Delivery of the Business Events Project will underpin the next generation of Product Analytics. Working closely with Vertical Analytics and Product teams, as well as Marketing, Technical and Data teams to jointly build specifications for behavioural data needs. You will then lead all aspects of the entire lifecycle of the data product – from ideation, through detailed specifications with stakeholders, through development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment management including feature adoption, as well as managing stakeholders throughout. You will work with highly capable engineering teams that will see your ideas brought to life, before delivering them into the hands of our product and analytics teams.

We use a mix of commercial off-the-shelf software and bespoke development to deliver our vision. You need to take ownership for the success of your ideas and need to be proficient in managing data product delivery across distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full business events (behavioral data) project lifecycle from ideas, through business requirements, development, to delivery to users and post-delivery maintenance
• Build and lead a team of data product managers and web analysts to support you in delivering project as well as maintaining current solutions we have in place.
• Be the key contact for behavioral data, a central point of contact for the business and technical teams
• Translation of stakeholder product questions/ high level deliverables into detailed events for engineering to develop
• Build data delivery processes that allows for a controlled delivery environment
• Build and handle roadmaps for the delivery of behavioural data across many of our products
• Assist with GA/Amplitude reporting and data queries/escalations
• Behavioural data champion, help with promoting the value the data brings

Who are we looking for

• Degree in the quantitative areas (STEM) or a minimum of five years’ meaningful work experience
• Significant experience and proven knowledge of Product Development in one of the following areas Online Gaming, Social Gaming, Web Ecommerce.
• Ability to take projects from concept through completion with specific focus on data usage within a large organization.
• Strong leader, with proven experience in people development and mentoring
• Practical experience with data and analysis tools
• Comfortable/experienced in working with large and/or sophisticated data sets.
• Ability to provide high quality work under pressure of tight deadlines
• Demonstrate excellent people management, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• A passionate, results orientated, self-starter and a great teammate.

The ideal candidate will also have

• Product Management experience within a lean / agile development methodology as well as waterfall
• Knowledge of the online Poker / Casino / Sportsbook industries
• Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics/Amplitude or equivalent
• End to end experience of project lifecycles
