The role: HR Admin

We are looking for an HR Administrator to join our busy and dynamic HR Operations team, based in our Leeds office. 

As an HR Administrator you will be responsible for creating and distributing offer letters and contracts and onboarding new employees in an efficient and timely manner. You will also be responsible for the referencing requests of current and former employees and assist in the maintenance of digital employee documents. Working to meet clearly defined SLAs to meet the demands and to ensure smooth operations of HR Central Support.

Why we need you:-

We are looking for an HR Administrator to provide central admin support to our HR Business Partnering function including working across areas such as talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll and reward. Working across multiple regions you will facilitate the employee experience from an administrative side.

From an administrative perspective you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing contracts & offers
  • Preparing paperwork to support amendments to contracts
  • Updating our HR System Workday with all changes
  • Setting up background checks for all new employees
  • On boarding process
  • Support with relocation of people in the business
  • Organisation of first day paper documentation
  • Coordinate administration for people leaving the organisation

In addition to the above you will also be assisting in the collection of employee documents such as employment verifications and maintaining any electronic data for new and existing employees. You will need to foster good working relationships with employees across the business and be recognised as a key contact within the HR Central Support function.

Who are we looking for:-

You will require relevant experience within a similar role, handling confidential information with the ability to provide a proactive and practical approach to problem solving and ability to identify areas for improvements in process, services and team ways of working. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, be a self-starter and able to plan and organise your work effectively.

We are a customer centric organisation and as such we need to ensure the customer is always our first thought. For this role you will need to communicate effectively, be quality focused and have a customer first approach.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:-

  • Ability to use Adobe and Microsoft applications (PDF, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using a HR software tool, preferably Workday
  • Desire to deliver an excellent experience for people
  • Knowledge of onboarding and the demands of a HR Central Support environment preferable
  • Able to deal with high volume operational priorities and demanding deadlines
  • Able to work independently and part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and good attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, able to work as part of a busy team
