The role:

We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our People team to partner with the International Technology business units.

This is an FTC (Fixed Term Contract) role for Maternity Cover.  

The role is based in Bulgaria but you’ll be supporting colleagues across global locations including Bulgaria, UK and Canada. Our HR Business Partners play a key part in shaping and then driving the delivery of the Technology people plan as well as the global people plan, creating business impact and adding real value. 

Seen as trusted advisors, we coach and empower Managers on people relations issues, focusing on employee experience at each point. Through collaboration with the wider Global Business Partnering team and Centres of Excellence, this role is key to embedding HR excellence locally.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

Why we need you

Reporting to the Senior HRBP, you’ll be a key part of the Technology People team.  This is a strategic HRBP role and as such, through developing a strong understanding of the Technology business unit’s you’re supporting, you’ll balance strategy and execution, solve problems by designing and applying creative solutions and ensure talent is retained through the delivery of great employee experiences.  You’ll be responsible for talent management, engagement and employee experience, employee relations as well as reward and recognition.   In addition to this, we’ve got a number of exciting projects to get involved with directly supporting the growth of the business.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll have experience at HR Business Partner or Manager level within a fast-paced international working environment with strong knowledge of local legislation, culture and industry. A focus on proactively delivering high levels of people support is vital, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to have an impact and influence at all levels. Applying a collaborative and naturally supportive approach, you’ll always be listening to people’s needs and understanding what’s important to them.

Your experience:

  • Hold HR Professional qualifications/memberships or the ability to demonstrate equivalent exposure
  • Seen as a trusted coach to leaders, colleagues, and team members at all levels
  • Use of data to drive actions and solve problems
  • Proactively work on your own initiative using resources and support available to deliver
  • A consultative and collaborative approach to getting things done
  • Expertise / confident in the area of technology

Your skills:

  • Experience within a multinational company
  • Project management experience – evidence of leading and participating in successful projects
  • Proficiency in Workday or other HR systems
