The role: We are looking for an IT Endpoint Engineer to join our IT Systems – IT Operations team in our Leeds office.

The IT Endpoint Engineer will play a pivotal role in a team responsible for delivering the platforms and systems required to support modern enterprise user environments. You will be involved in improving our ways of working and employing automation and self-service solutions to empower staff and accelerate IT service delivery across the group.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission aligned.
 
Why we need you
Reporting to the IT Endpoint Team Lead, responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day administration of our Microsoft Endpoint Manager environment, including Configuration Manager, Intune, Autopilot and Desktop Analytics
  • Creation, maintenance and updating of OS Images and task sequences with Config Manager
  • Day-to-day administration of our Jamf Pro environment
  • Deployment of macOS and Windows operating systems using Jamf and Config Manager
  • Application Packaging / scripting for deployment of apps on macOS and Windows
  • Provision and maintenance of images in our Virtual Desktop Environment
  • Endpoint governance, reporting and compliance management
  • Endpoint security and patching
  • Incident and request management
  • Provide 3rd Line support to Pokerstars Helpdesk on Endpoint related issues
  • Project, process and task management
  • Creating and ongoing maintenance of departmental documentation
  • Performing out-of-hours escalation and maintenance duties

Who we’re looking for
Your experience:

  • Three years of experience in a similar Desktop / Endpoint Management role within an Enterprise Organisation
  • Experience in OS Deployment, Software Distribution and Patch management in SCCM Including 3rd Party Catalogues and Applications
  • Experience with Jamf Pro
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Intune
  • Experience preparing POC, creating RFC and Implementing Service / Process improvements
  • Experience working with MDM Solutions
  • Experience working with JIRA and Atlassian products
  • Experience packaging software for managed deployments
  • Experience administrating Microsoft Azure and O365 offerings

  • An understanding of key Endpoint technologies such as anti-virus, removable media control, application control, user rights management, patching and managed update systems.
  • Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Bare Metal Operating System Deployment (Win 10+)
  • OS Deployment Task Sequences
  • Creation and Maintenance of Machine Collections / AD Security Groups
  • Intune Co-Management
  • Software Update Collections / Patch Deployment
  • 3rd Party Catalogue Management (Eg. HP, Dell, Patch My PC)
  • Cloud Management Gateway
  • Intune Experience: Including Autopilot, Desktop Analytics, Group Policy Migration, Co-Management, Hybrid Join, Management of iOS and Android
  • Experience of VMWare Horizon, Including preparation and maintenance of Golden Images 
  • Working knowledge of Jamf and macOS Management
  • Scripting Experience with PowerShell and Bash
  • Power BI Report Creation Able to prioritise and work within tight time scales to meet deadlines
