The role: Localisation Manager

We are looking for a Localisation Manager to join our growing Central Localisation team, based in our Dublin service office.

Why we need you:

The Central Localisation team is the central point that coordinates the localisation/translation of all marketing and promotional material, as well as all software and any other relevant materials for all the Groups verticals, brands and departments.

The demand for localisation services is quickly growing, the position of Localisation Manager takes ownership for and coordinates the execution of global SLAs for the operational workflows. The Localisation Manager will project run Localisation projects such as standardisation and implementation of translation tools, adding new languages, adding new licenses, certification processes and new offerings. They will also advise on localisation challenges and issues at both a central and regional level.

As part of this role, you will be the point of contact for content providing departments on localisation and providing valuable feedback from language teams to central content providing units.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the Groups offerings are localised and available across the globe, as specified by the Marketing departments
  • Traffic management of content/information between the core business and language teams
  • Lead the global localisation processes
  • Service and operational perfection/Guarding demand versus capacity
  • Responsibility for the measurement and quality assurance of the localisation business function
  • Project management of new languages, new offerings, web sites, licenses, and all other non-regular day to day operational workload

Who are we looking for:

We are looking for an experienced localisation manager (or experience gained in a similar role) with understanding of project management. You are ideally educated to a degree level or hold the equivalent combination of education/experience. You will have excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills, with high accuracy. You’ll need to be a clear and concise communicator, comfortable with dealing with partners from across the business. You also have the ability to accept cultural diversity and are a collaborative teammate who can work cross-functionally.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Shown affinity/experience with one of the following: Legal/Compliance, Software Localisation, IT, Big localisation projects
  • Knowledge of the gaming industry
  • Good knowledge of Computer Aided Translation Tools
  • Native in a non-English language/Additional languages is desirable
  • Contract negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office products
