The role: Operations Automation Business Analyst

We are looking for an Operations Automation Business Analyst to join our team in Dublin.

The Operations Automation Analyst role will play a significant part in our transformational RPA portfolio of work. The team will drive the programme through a mixture of redesign and building of new processes in the businesses chosen RPA tool. You will also be responsible for the management of relationships across multiple teams to ensure effective delivery of the portfolio, and realisation of the benefits.

Why we need you

The Operations Customer Excellence team is part of the wider Operations Customer Engagement Department. The Customer Excellence team in particular looks after Automation, Optimisation and Innovating our client experience in order to unlock the full potential of the unit through knowledge, technology and people. Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing solutions for agreed processes capturing requirements for end solution.
  • Utilising data and analytic skills in order articulate potential benefits from proposed solution.
  • Playing a key role in process improvement reviews to find opportunities where automation can drive benefits and efficiencies for the business.
  • Communicating design changes and technical requirements to business SMEs and management.
  • Responsible for QA on all build of new processes within the selected RPA platform, before the UAT process with operational partners.
  • Build relationships and work with stakeholders across the business to be well positioned to identify future opportunities for process improvement and automation solutions.
  • Work closely with the relevant IT and product teams to ensure external stakeholders are aware of what’s happening with our automation strategy and to ensure that we are aligned to overall group strategy

Who we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and capabilities:

  • Have a keen interest in data & how we can utilise to develop data driven solutions.
  • Past experience working within an Operational environment
  • Possess first class analytic & design skills
  • Ability to multitask and willing to work on multiple projects at a given time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting within the business and with external clients
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage expectations

The following credentials are a distinct advantage, but not essential for the role:

  • Project management experience – participating in successful projects
  • Project management qualifications or formal training
  • Experience utilising Lean & Agile methodologies
  • Solid understanding of MS Office programs
