We are looking for a Poker Product Data Manager to join our busy and dynamic Poker Product and Innovation team.

The Poker Product team is at the forefront of shaping PokerStars player offering and ensuring it remains at the cutting edge. We are looking for someone who has a deep love and interest for the game of Poker.

Our Director of Poker Product put it succintly that: "It is nearly impossible to be bored working in Poker Product. Our mandate is to constantly improve and iterate on our player facing offering and ensure that we remain the ultimate destination for online poker by providing the best experiences for our players.”

Why we need you:

As a Poker Product Data Manager within the Poker Product and Innovation team, you will be the analytical partner for internal stakeholders, primarily the team responsible for PokerStars’ consumer facing poker offering and the poker Innovation team. You’ll deliver advanced analytical projects within a fast-moving environment and providing proactive insights to enhance the Poker experience for our millions of players.

Collaboration is key as you will work with other departments to connect data and understand player journeys and impact.

You will be responsible for creation and delivery of detailed dashboards to internally reflect on our KPIs and measure the progress and success of product developments across multiple platforms. You will also be managing a team of two Poker Product Analysts.

Who are we looking for:

  • You’ll have a degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative area or relevant experience gained in data analytics
  • You’ll have a thorough understanding of the online poker industry, including extensive experience playing poker, consuming available training resources and video content, and awareness of commercial moves of other operators
  • You’ll have the ability to present complex analysis in a clear and concise way for internal stakeholders
  • You’ll have experience manipulating large data sets with tools such as Python and R

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • In-depth knowledge of PokerStars products and promotions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • English fluency – written and verbal
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to take a project from start to finish
  • Experience in people management
