The role: Product Analyst

We are looking for a Product Analyst to join the International Sports Product team in Leeds! This role will work across 3 tribes within International Sports championing the customer experience.

Are you our next star player?

As one of 2 product analysts you will report into the Head of Product for the newly formed portfolio team. You will be responsible for generating insights into customer interaction and behaviour across the websites and apps. You’ll be deep diving into data and coming up with recommendations to improve the products, working closely with product managers, UX and business partners across the International sports team to provide the best customer experience possible.

Why we need you

You will work within the portfolio team to identify the customer journey, problems and gain insights into the customer interactions across the product. You will assist the product and tech teams within International Sports to track and report on KPI’s associated with the key customer journeys. You will quickly identify and investigate trends, patterns, and other occurrences in data sets, presenting this back to partners to help drive decisions.

  • Building coherent reports and dashboards using various data visualisation tools.
  • Monitoring Sports performance through understanding the interactions of relevant KPI’s
  • Deliver impactful insights directly to the product teams
  • Explanation and interpretation of data with non-technical partners to ensure they are well informed regarding key performance indicator trends.
  • Routine data audits and hygiene to identify and accurate data flow issues with various 3rd party and internal platforms.

Who we’re looking for

You are a hardworking and data driven individual with a focus on the customer experience. You have the ability to prioritise high volumes of responsibilities without delays in results. You possess knowledge of software development lifecycles, multiple development styles and methodologies with a strong aptitude in defining both business and technical requirements. You have excellent interpersonal skills, relationship management and attention to detail. You’re able to perform under pressure against tight deadlines with a can-do demeanour.

Your experience:

  • Strong focus on key performance indicators that factor in, understand, supervise and initiate investigations based on analytics.
  • Experience working in product or data analysis
  • An understanding of Agile and Waterfall development lifecycles.
  • Working experience of tools such as Google Analytics, MicroStrategy, Jira, Confluence or similar
  • Problem solving skills within high impact environments.
  • An understanding of Customer Experience Design.
