The role: Product Manager

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Product Discovery team in Leeds!

Our tech teams work remotely within the UK, occasionally you’ll need to come to the office in Leeds. Not often, but up to 4-5 times a month and of course, we’ll cover all related expenses. Working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

Why we need you

In this role, you’ll work with the wider tribe and product discovery team to identify and validate business and user ideas. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Investigate solutions using a range of approaches, including researching competitor products, commercially available solutions and thinking outside of the industry for standard methodology and new opportunities
  • Gather, analyse and report on relevant data and available research to measure validity of the proposed solution
  • Formulate hypothesis to aid product discovery and establish research goals
  • Validate hypothesis together with multi-disciplined teams, including UX research, UX/UI design, architecture and development
  • Share discovery outcomes with the wider business with clear justifications and supporting evidence based on the user and market research, and testing
  • Establish success metrics for given initiative in collaboration with the relevant business partners
  • Support various product teams in crafting product strategy and roadmaps based on discovery findings

Who we’re looking for

We are on the lookout for an individual with product management or product discovery experience in a consumer facing digital or ecommerce environment. Key skills and experience include:

Your experience:

  • Product management experience within an agile development methodology
  • Sports betting domain knowledge would be beneficial

Your skills:

You have strong partner management, and excellent interpersonal skills with ability to optimally present options and recommendations to partners. You have an understanding of customer interactions and user journeys on transactional digital products and a passion for continually improving customer experience.

Your behaviours:

You’re naturally collaborative, and with a desire to be part of an outstanding team rather than just being a highly successful individual. You have proven problem-solving ability and providing creative solutions. You act as a subject matter specialist when collaborating with the delivery teams, supporting them through early stages of development to product rollout. You’re able to maintain continuous relationships with other strategy, research, discovery and user experience teams.
