The role: We are looking for a Product Owner (Marketing Platform) to join our Marketing Platform team in Dublin or Leeds.

We are on a mission to set the standards for marketing innovation in Online Gaming! In Marketing Platform, we want to give our CRM and Marketing teams the tools and processes required to reach new and existing customers within the marketing landscape.

We are looking for several experienced Product Owners to join our product squads and take ownership of the backlog for several marketing products and services. You will set the one sprint to 6-month vision of your squad and work closely with Product Managers to bring the roadmap and vision to life.

Why we need you

As Product Owner you will act as the squad facing owner of the product backlog. You will work closely with squad members, taking ownership of the backlog and prioritisation. You will manage the product development lifecycle leading the effort for ideation, detailed requirements, development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment management.

We use a mix of commercial off-the-shelf software and bespoke development to deliver our vision. You will take responsibility for the success of your ideas and need to be competent in managing software development delivery across distributed teams.

Who we’re looking for someone who can

  • Create and own your squad’s product backlog and manage their priorities ensuring they deliver value to the business. You will create an environment that supports the squad in aligning to reach their goals
  • Translate ideas and high level deliverables into detailed product solutions for engineering to develop
  • Take ownership in delivering great products reflected in the quality of your research to user stories to acceptance criteria, signing off on complete features for release, and triaging and prioritising bugs
  • Measure the success of your development, tracking user engagement, demonstrate net improvement and NPS improvements
  • Partner with the Product Manager in your squad for the longer vision horizon, contributing to the overall product vision and working in harmony to drive toward outcomes
  • Work on multiple projects at once, employ strong time management skills to prioritise your workload accordingly

Your experience:

  • Experience as Product Owner or Product Manager in agile environment
  • Experience in multi-channel digital environments and agile projects (desktop / mobile / tablet)
  • Proven experience in user journey mapping and customer experience management
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail; ability to talk tech at any level from developer to Director
  • Proven ability in requirements engineering, gap analysis, business process mapping and analysis, building business cases, etc.
  • Very strong analytical abilities
  • A creative and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to function as a self-starter with an emphasis on getting things done

An ideal candidate will have

  • Solid understanding and experience of being part of a scrum team and writing themes, epics, user stories, user acceptance criteria, etc.
  • Understanding of backlog prioritisation for developer aiming for the most valuable product
  • Solid understanding and experience of being part of a scrum team and writing themes, epics, user stories, user acceptance criteria, etc.
  • Exposure to QA processes and testing
  • Knowledge of iGaming industry or marketing is desirable but not essential
  • A passion for delivering delightful customer experiences ensuring that they stay at the centre of all we say and do
  • Ownership of their work and be empowered to make smart decisions and actions when need
  • A win together mentality, ensuring that they are able speak up, be ready to challenge and support the team
