The role: GHRIS Project Manager – 12 month FTC

We are recruiting for a 12 month FTC Project Manager to join our People Services team in the Isle of Man office.

As part of the acquisition of the Stars Group, Flutter Entertainment is now looking to bring together a number of brands, divisions and employees into one single HR System, that is globally accessible, offers the full breadth of functionality capabilities, with quality data and powerful reporting and analytical tools. The global HR system will enable the global HR teams to support the strategic direction of the Flutter businesses whilst creating the ability to grow and scale at speed and provide agility and flexibility to support acquisitions and merger activities across the group. 

Why we need you:

As Project Manager, you will line into the CPO for International and work closely with the Global HRIS project deployment team alongside the HR, Tech and Delivery communities across both all International countries. You will ensure successful mobilisation and timely delivery across a portfolio of workstreams and initiatives. These are wide ranging in terms of scope, from Reward, Talent, HR Policy and Processes, Payroll, Security, Finance, Compliance, Regulatory, Technology strategy & support, Retail and Customer Operational teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • You will work alongside teams across the wider divisional business ensure that cross-divisional relationships are effective, dependencies owned and blockers to delivery are identified early and removed allowing seamless delivery.
  • It will be your role to drive the pace of delivery across the HR and Technical functions, internal and external suppliers and customers, whilst respecting and fostering the mix of cultures and ways of working. To do this, you will have to adapt a number of delivery methodologies and not take a one-size fits all approach.
  • Collate concise and informative reports for the relevant audience on key projects and initiatives providing transparency on status and risks to successful delivery.
  • Gain trust and build strong relationships with Senior Stakeholders across the business
  • Work alongside our initiative Sponsors and Functional owners to ensure we have robust delivery plans across the initiatives that align to business, HR and Technical strategies and goals

Who we’re looking for:

As much as what you do is important….how you do it is equally important to us with behaviours and a ‘can do’ attitude being key attributes for the successful candidate. You will have experience in a similar role within a large, fast paced ecommerce business, and will have significant experience of various project delivery methodologies. It would be an advantage for the successful candidate to also have experience of working in Lean and Agile product delivery. You will possess exceptional leadership skills, which will ensure that you are seen as a role model and be able to influence Teams and Stakeholders with your knowledge and experience of both structured delivery and different ways of working.

  • Being approachable, open minded and possessing an ability to work well with people at all levels of the business, along with external stakeholders is at the heart of how we work. 
  • You will focus and motivate the delivery teams to work at pace, with quality and deadlines at the forefront of their thinking
  • You will build relationships with key stakeholders across the Global Project, Cross Divisional project representatives, Division and Functional Leadership Team, and across the wider International business’
