The role: RPA Lead Developer

We are looking for an RPA Lead Developer to join our team in Hyderabad.

The RPA Lead Developer will sit within the Process Automation & Innovation function which is part of the Customer & Product org. The role will play a significant part in our groundbreaking Intelligent Process Automation portfolio of work within PokerStars & other businesses across the international division of Flutter Entertainment. The aim of our function is to use RPA & NLP to tackle problems and improve customer & employee experiences.

You will manage a team of RPA Developers to drive the programme through a mixture of redesign and building of new processes in the businesses chosen automation tools. You will also be responsible for people management of each RPA Developer.

You will be part of a diverse function based across different locations who strive to break the distance by using our technologies to communicate better and to upskill and support each other daily. We are proud of the relationships we have built with our suppliers and the rest of the business.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day management of our RPA Development team including setting goals & carrying out regular performance management reviews.
  • Collaborate with the relevant key stakeholders to help define the roadmap for delivery.
  • Internal stakeholder management to keep them informed of progress and address their needs.
  • Supporting RPA Developers in modelling and developing out robotic processes during the project development stage.
  • Leading on development standards around RPA best practices and ensure they’re embedded within the team.
  • You will be key in educating others on how our RPA technology works & working as the need arises with our internal & external technology partners.
  • Mentoring and guiding peers via code reviews, dev sessions and pair-programming.
  • Working closely with the Delivery, NLP & Maintenance & Optimisations Leads to ensure our function goals are met.

Skills and Capabilities


  • Minimum 2+ years experience developing & architecting RPA Solutions with UiPath
  • Willingness to learn & further skills in other automation technologies.
  • Experience in issue resolution.
  • Must be able to multitask and support multiple projects at a given time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with business stakeholders and external clients.
  • Ability to ensure teams can work to deadlines and manage expectations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The following credentials are a distinct advantage, but not crucial for the role:

  • Past experience as a people manager would be advantageous
  • Past experience working as an UiPath RPA developer.
  • Experience with IBM Watson and/or using UiPath & IBM Watson together.
