We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our busy and dynamic GSTP team based in our Leeds office or UK remote (within country)

We’re on an exciting journey; as part of the Flutter group we are a key part of the world’s largest Betting and Gaming company with brands such as PokerStars, Paddy Power, BetFair and SkyBet. We’re expanding our team as we use our technical and sports-betting expertise to deliver a best of breed Sportsbook.

Our tech teams can work remotely within country, occasionally you’ll need to come to the office. Not often, but up to 4-5 times a month and of course, we’ll cover all related expenses. Working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

What you will do

Reporting to the Lead Scrum Master, you will take scrum master responsibilities with at least one team.

We believe in autonomous and outcome-oriented teams. A Scrum master will be responsible for agile practices at team level; operating as a coach and leader of agile practices within their teams. The Scrum Master will leverage their skills and experience in continuously improving ways of working, working with other scrum masters to hone and improve their craft, balancing quality and velocity with satisfaction and purpose.

You will be self-motivated and willing to contribute at all levels, listening and learning from those around you. Culture is key to our success and we want every one of our team to be a part of it. The Scrum Master and their peers will be key in creating an engaged community using a variety of new and established techniques enabling everyone to learn and be part of our success.

Who you are:

  • As a Scrum Master you will coach at least one team
  • You will need a good understanding of product management techniques
  • You will take direct scrum master responsibility for at least one scrum team
  • You will have excellent time management skills allowing you to balance priority of your scrum team responsibilities with those shared with your peers
  • You will have a good understanding of the principles of agile and lean methodologies together with the experience and skills in using agile tools and techniques to get the best out of the teams you work with
  • You will use your skills, working with your team, to enable fast flow of work from idea to production.
  • You will be an expert in facilitation from working with and coaching individuals to teams and even the organization as a whole.
  • You will build strong relationships within a complex organisation
  • Experience using metrics and intelligence to inform and drive you and your team’s work
  • Experience working at the required level

The salary for this job is based on experience, so whilst we are not able to go into detail at this stage, we can say that we offer great salary packages and a discretionary annual performance bonus. We can also provide advice and dedicated assistance to those moving to Leeds.
