We are looking for a Software Developer within our Payments team to assist in the development and support of our word leading gaming platform.
You will demonstrate extensive experience of C++ development, solid knowledge of STL, ODBC and SQL along with in-depth understanding of OO principles and design patterns.
You’ll be developing server-side components of a multi-tier enterprise system, crafting documentation and assisting the integration efforts of other teams so you’ll need strong communication and problem-solving skills.
You will be dealing with proprietary framework, thus you have to be willing to learn and adapt; you will be open-mined with can-do attitude.
This role is located in Richmond Hill but can be done remote for the time being.
Are you our next star player?
You’ll be developing in-house built enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that supports our multi-million player base. You’ll be involved in devising architectural solutions to meet constantly evolving business requirements.
Why we need you:
Your key responsibilities include developing, improving and maintaining C++ server code. You will be collaborating with other development teams, DBAs and architects on design and technical issues.
You will be involved in the meetings with product owners to turn high-level feature requests into detailed technical specs.
You will be helping to advance software unit test and build processes to further improve quality of deliverables.
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll have experience in designing efficient algorithms as you’ll be supporting and driving design and architectural decisions with respect to our CRM system. Along with this, you can work under stress and meet deadlines to ensure the system continues to scale successfully with our growing player base.
It’s important that you have experience with relational and document-oriented databases, is able to design conceptual data models and compose efficient SQL queries.
Knowledge of email specifications along with Web standards and protocols is highly desirable.
Experience with test driven development and agile methodologies will be an added benefit for this role.
You have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
