We’re looking for a senior systems configuration analyst to join our busy and dynamic team in our Richmond Hill office.
Why we need you: –
You will work with system infrastructure and application configuration. You will configure, deploy, and troubleshoot applications in all company’s verticals. You will monitor system component health and performance. You will maintain multiple environments in QA and Production. You will work with other teams on application and deployment requirements.
Who are we looking for: –
You’ll be taking part in application configuration, deployment, restarts, and troubleshooting in QA and production environments along with contributing to architectural decisions so you’ll need to have technical expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems and networking. You’ll be participating in developing new infrastructure and deployment schemes as well as system monitoring, performance analysis and recommending how to enhance it. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell and Bash is important as is hands on experience with orchestration tools (Jenkins, etc.). A relevant degree or similar qualification along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills is important as is competency in Version Control (Git/Bitbucket).
You will communicate with developers and BSA to clarify their requirements along with collaborate with systems to implement application requirements/consulting production support team on any issues so effective communication skills are important. You’ll be working with systems and DBA on environment infrastructure as well as assisting QA teams in their tasks. Programming experience would be an advantage (C++, Java) as is experience with configuration management tools (Saltstack, Ansible, etc). You’ll also be coaching new team members and participating in urgent cases.
