We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Poker Development Team based in our Richmond Hill, Toronto office!

As a Senior member of the DevOps team you will have extensive experience in automating and streamlining processes. Strong technical knowledge and understanding is critical to be able to suggest improvements to our ways of working, but also strong communication skills communicate these improvements with other technical colleagues and to business stakeholders.

Why we need you:

You will be joining an existing international located across London, Isle of Man, Bulgaria, and Toronto and reporting to the Senior Manager, DevOps based in London.

Within this role you will work as part of the team that manages and delivers Software Development projects ensuring availability of key DevOps services used by the Software Development teams and Business units!

Key Responsibilities

  • You will support in building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring and operations
  • Building and maintaining Mini Environments and CI/CD Pipelines (Core Server, Windows)
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve issues in our Dev, QA/UAT and Production environments for a wide range of projects.
  • You’ll be responsible to maintain, deploy, upgrade and configure both customer facing & internal systems and services.
  • Provide support to Development and QA teams
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who are we looking for:

  • Meaningful experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of Build tools (Apache Ant, Npm, Yarn, Apache Maven)
  • Solid understanding of Jenkins structure, pipelines, libraries and Groovy
  • Git and versioning software
  • Full proficiency with Linux command line environment including shell scripting (Bash) and remote server administration via Ssh
  • Linux and windows development toolchain (Linux: gcc/g++, make | Windows: ldd,i.e. Visual Studio, IncrediBuild)
  • Packaging tools (i.e. rpm, nuget, npm)
  • Proficiency in Coding languages (i.e. C/C++, C#, Python, Groovy, Perl, Bash, PowerShell/Batch, Node.js, Javascript)
  • Knowledge in Databases (i.e. DB2, SQL/SPL)
  • Familiar with Apache, Nginx and IIS web servers
  • Good understanding of configuration and management tools (i.e. Salt, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of Redhat 7+ / CentOS 7+
  • Knowledge of Windows Server W2K6+
  • On-hands knowledge with Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket Server
