We are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to join our GSTP team in Sofia,Bulgaria.

Our tech teams can work remotely within country, occasionally you’ll need to come to the office. Not often, but up to 4-5 times a month and of course, we’ll cover all related expenses. Working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

You will become part of the Global Sports & Trading Platform tribe where you will be designing and maintaining systems that strive to be outstanding. If you enjoy working with code and are motivated by working in a creative environment that allows you to build software using the newest technologies, our role is crafted for you.

Why we need you

As one of our highly skilled engineers, you will help define and analyze business requirements and implement solutions to business needs, ensuring their completion by putting together a robust end to end process. You’ll turn concepts and requirements into highly available web applications and systems using industry standard languages and technologies such as JavaScript, Marionette, React, Angular and Typescript. You’ll balance the commercial needs of the business against the ideal technical design, proposing sound phased or tactical implementations where appropriate. We’ll expect you to actively support the implementation of continuous integration to improve deployment processes in line with delivery/release evolution plans.

Who we’re looking for

You are a senior specialist with a proven track record for developing frontend web applications for high load data heavy websites. You embrace a DevOps approach to build tooling and automation which improve developer experience and speed of delivery. You can use features of the web platform to ensure the best possible performance is achieved for customers.

Your experience:

You have a minimum of 5 years in client-side JavaScript development. You have experience in working in an agile environment (Scrum / Kanban). You’ll be someone who is happy to work independently or collaboratively on multiple tasks.

Your skills:

  • Excellent working knowledge of JavaScript
  • Experience of working with Marionette/Backbone applications
  • Good knowledge of browser support and cross-browser testing/features
  • Good knowledge of several JavaScript frameworks, including Angular and React
  • Excellent HTML/CSS (LESS, SASS, SCSS)
  • Experience with working with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with setting development standards and performing code reviews
  • Experience with designing large scale web solutions

Overall you are highly motivated developer who is passionate about writing good code, have strong interpersonal skills and are keen to continuously learn and share knowledge with others. You are eager to work and tackle problems in a team but with lower supervision.
