The role: Senior Gaming Analyst – StarsPlay
We are looking for a Senior Gaming Analyst – StarsPlay to join our busy and dynamic Social Gaming team in our India office.
Are you our next star player?
This role requires you to assist the business in preparing revenue forecast for gaming products for our StarsPlay vertical. A need to provide a regular audit of user engagement channels and marketing campaign analysis, while also working with tracking integration: setting up events, callbacks, etc. You will oversee the implementation of analytics tools in all game titles and collect, monitor and analyse project key performance indicators (KPIs).
Why we need you:-
You will be responsible for analysis and processes for our free to play mobile portfolio. Our analysts will drive key product decisions and optimizations using a range of tools and methods. You will be responsible for choosing the optimal analytic tools, creating a cross-game taxonomy and overseeing implementation of the analytics across all games.
Working directly with live game data and key members of the game team, you will proactively pose and answer KPI-driven questions, introduce and manage analytics systems and processes, analyse datasets, report conclusions, build predictive models and communicate recommendations to Business and Product. You’ll also explore and implement machine learning algorithms where it can benefit the team or specific games.
You’ll design metrics to analyse and predict player behavior and sees the impact of gaming upgrades and promotions in the short and long term. There is a need for you to formulate recommendations for changes in the game and track the effect of their implementation. While also analysing game-specific data and proactively make recommendations to Product Managers. You will work with engineering to evaluate, define and deploy analytics platforms/features.

Who are we looking for:-
You will need previous experience in a gaming business intelligence or analytics roles at a social or mobile gaming studio or as an external consultant. The role requires the ability to work on multiple projects in parallel while managing and meeting changing deadlines and priorities with experience working with Excel and Tableau (or other front end visualization tools).
Previous experience using and developing your SQL skills, as well as, R and/or Python (preferably both) is a must. You’ll have the ability to communicate complex findings and ideas into comprehensible language. This role requires you to have an understanding of tools available for analysis of free to play games and a passion for mobile products and games.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:-
A university degree in a quantitative area (or equivalent) with a concentration on predictive analytics is desirable.
