Senior Product Manager, Exchange White Label

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our International Sports Product team in London or Leeds!

Are you our next star player?

Reporting to the Head of Product, International Sports, this role will be responsible for owning the Product Roadmap for the Exchange White Label product.

Working with a wide range of stakeholders across the International division and 3rd party delivery partners, you will be responsible for ensuring we maximise the return on investment we are making on our Exchange White Label product, ensuring it is stable, scalable, engaging and easy to use, whilst balancing the need to improve existing systems with the demands of the business to expand into new jurisdictions.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

Why we need you

You will play a key role in the ownership and development of our exchange white label product and its roadmap.

You will manage our 3rd party delivery team to ensure continuous and regular product features, improvements and key services are delivered.

You’ll work very closely with internal and external business partners, ingesting their business requirements and needs, along with your own product propositions, to build a compelling roadmap that serves our EWL partners and customers.

You will strive to improve existing processes and put new robust ones in place where necessary, to ensure smooth running of the EWL for existing partners and the onboarding of new ones.

You’ll be the lynchpin for ensuring Betfair Exchange product knowledge feeds into the EWL, its partners, and the Betfair International product team.

You will use data to drive your decisions and in doing so, define and prioritise the relevant backlogs and communicate these for delivery. You’ll also review, measure and assess delivered solutions to ensure fitness for purpose.

You’ll build and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues in Product, Commercial, Trading, Operational and Technology functions.

Your experience:

Product Manager or Senior Product Manager within a scaled agile development methodology environment

Managed in-house or 3rd party delivery teams

Managed and delivered product roadmaps, consuming input from multiple different partners and outputting prioritised roadmaps and their delivery

Worked on both front-end customer facing products and back-end operational products and tools

Significant experience in the Exchange sports betting sector, with an appreciation of the business logic, operational processes and customer needs

Your skills:

Naturally collaborative with a desire to be part of a highly successful team rather than just a highly successful individual

Excellent communication skills, comfortable operating at all levels of an organisation

Customer-focused with the end user never far from your thoughts

Able to say yes and no in equal measure to different partners, with sound reasoning and logic to support your decision

Requirements:

An analytical and inquisitive mind-set with the ability to analyse sophisticated problems, determine solutions, and produce tangible outcomes

Ability to maintain a balance between short-term delivery and longer-term strategy

Ability to prioritise between the needs and requests of multiple different partners

Skilled in managing expectations of different partners and customers

Highly organised and self-motivated, with a desire to see a job through to conclusion

What’s in it for you?

Our experience-based salaries are competitive. Plus, there’s a discretionary annual performance bonus, and we provide advice and dedicated assistance to those moving to London or Leeds.

Your package will include:

health and dental insurance for you, your partner and your children (if you all live at the same address)

a personal interest allowance to let you learn something new or pursue a hobby

£1,000 as congratulations if you have a baby whilst you work for us

discounted gym membership

in-house training and development to develop your skills, progressing your career.
