The Role: Senior Systems Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Toronto Office.

Why we need you:

You will be playing a key part in improving the quality of ever expanding operational support offerings by Stars Group. You will participate in managing our implementations of stakeholder requirements and 3rd party integrations.

You will be involved in all aspects of software development and delivery, such as analysis, design and documentation of complex business processes and requirements, development of functional specifications and API requirements, participation in planning software development, project delivery coordination between business units and development teams.

You will prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Who we are looking for:

You have proven work experience as a Senior Business Systems Analyst in environments with large commercial online presence. You have a solid understanding of all aspects of SDLC, deep understanding of programming and its role in delivering large scale e-commerce solutions. You are able to understand and produce technical software documentation and have a BSc degree or an equivalent education in scientific, mathematical or engineering fields.

You possess excellent communication skills, are able to clearly communicate on different organizational levels, and use your skills to facilitate and bridge communications between business stakeholders and developers. You are a self-starter capable to work under minimal supervisions while handling several projects simultaneously, and are someone who can solve technical problems and resolve conflicts.

Each of the following would be considered as a plus:

  • Your experience in software internationalization and localization
  • Your good understanding and acceptance of development principles expressed in Agile Manifesto
  • Your PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) ® or similar certification
