The role: We are looking for a Senior UX Architect to join our busy and multifaceted Customer Experience Design team in our Leeds office.
Why we need you
In this role, you will have a deep knowledge of user-centred design with experience of driving collaboration with other UX, UI, Product, and Development teams to secure consistency across all products!
You will work closely with numerous teams to help shape clear, seamlessly designed experiences for our customers. You will understand the needs from all areas of the business in order to build intuitive and consistent solutions within a sophisticated environment. You will also take time to understand the performance side of design, regulated markets and the business aspects of our products. The role will require consideration for product consistency and player experience across all channels and touch points. You’ll work closely with other UX Architects and be responsible for delivering and championing the design solutions for your area of responsibility.
You will be a strong advocate for customer centricity, with deep knowledge and practice of information architecture and interaction design across a variety of devices, touch-points and platforms! Whilst also having a keen eye for detail and cross platform consistency, considering users who interact across more than one platform.
You’ll be experienced with user research, nurturing the involvement of customers during product design and development. Ensuring insights are shared across all teams and are considered as well as iterated during the design and development phases. You will ensure customer issues and unmet needs are acquired and addressed, as well as being proficient and experienced in modern user research methods.
You will have extensive experience as a UX practitioner embedding Design Thinking within working processes with your product peers. You will have a strong desire to co-create (with customers and internal teams), and a lot of experience facilitating this type of collaboration. You’ll have a real passion for hands-on design, style guides and libraries. While also initiating, driving and iterating on the UX deliverables and adapt these to the product, developer and research as the needs require.
Who we’re looking for
You will have at least 3 years’ experience as an in-house UX practitioner being an integral part in the in-house environment. You’ll need to have a comprehensive understanding of user centred design, whilst also being a very effective communicator and willing teammate.
Experience crafting solutions for all channels (responsive and native) and being proficient in Axure/ Figma and other UX/prototyping tools is vital. You will be experienced working in cross-functional teams with designers, product manager and developers.
You are a phenomenal storyteller who understands the essence of every project and knows how to quickly produce a prototype and present a product’s concept to partners. You’ll have experience leading projects in-house and in front of clients, mentoring and working with other junior designers, developers and product owners.
You’ll have proven understanding of front-end mobile and web technologies, while also having a real passion for the latest design tools, processes, and practices.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
Experience working in the online gaming or other regulated industry and working on products/brands across different geographies and countries is desirable.
