We are looking for a Site Reliability Specialist to be apart our our payments team here at The Stars Group. The role is located in Sofia, Bulgaria but can be done remotely within Bulgaria for the time being.
Are you our next star player?
Analysis and support of Payments and Licensing related components such as new and existing payment processors integration, Start to End Player’s financial operation experience, new license delivery, regulatory restrictions and reporting
Why we need you:
- Manage Production support backlog and prioritization with business, perform unit testing of the fixes and assist QA in integration testing
- Reproduce production issues in appropriate environments (QA, UAT, etc) involving appropriate parties
- Triage low priority (P3,P4,etc) tasks for review with developers
- Spearhead adhoc production configuration changes
- Review configuration for planned production deployments (both adhoc and build related)
- Participate in a committee providing feedback on proposed configuration changes
- Work with the Developers, IT Project Delivery and IT Operations to aid in the identification of end to end monitoring requirements, implementation, training and education
- Proactively partner with stakeholders and sponsors to review results specifying potential project or operational release impacts.
Who we’re looking for:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to comprehend and triage technical issues effectively
- Has knowledge of various IT engineering and operational theories and practices.
- Able to prioritize and address complex issues.
- Perform research and/or review proposals with SMEs to achieve objectives.
- Degree in Computer science or related degree along with shown experience in a technology solutions company
- Working knowledge of SQL, basic algorithms and data structure
- Clear understanding of modern software development principles and paradigms.
- Comfortable with Git and JIRA
- Knowledge of scripting is a plus.
