The role: Strategic HR Partner

We are looking for a Strategic HR Partner to join our team in IOM, UK.

Are you our next star player?

If so, you will be working with the Group’s Business Leaders as a strategic partner who understands the how and why of each of the business areas to make a truly valued contribution to the business bottom line, delivering people solutions to business problems.

Why we need you

As a Strategic HR Partner, you will help shape business strategy and you will operate as an internal business consultant. You will be the person who advices the Group’s HR Community of Expertise (e.g. Reward, HR Tech, Learning, Talent and People Services) to deliver agile and effective people solutions.

Along with that you will work hand in glove with the Senior Leadership of the Group Partner and the community of expertise for the implementation of people solutions. e.g. Tax, Legal, Internal Audit.

Manage functional headcount budgets alongside EMT owner ensuring all headcount modelling, forecasting and actuals are managed and executed accurately.

You will be leading projects made up of cross functional teams to across the verticals


Who we’re looking for?

Your experience:

  • Essential experience with high-tech organizations
  • Deep understanding of the online commerce business model, with strong knowledge of gaming agenda
  • Working with global teams and driving organizational change initiatives
  • Developing talent management plans for a global organization
  • Ability to diagnose issues, demonstrate high judgment, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions to integrate HR and business strategies
  • High quality document preparation and presentation skills

Your skills:

  • Shows bias for action and demonstrated ability to deliver results.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams
  • Highly analytical ensuring that the organization rigorously measures and analyses the right things to drive success
  • Identify and make recommendations on potential coaching opportunities on an individual, team and leadership basis
  • Demonstrated ability to drive human resource strategies and programs in a complex environment at the most senior levels of an organization
