The Technology Strategy & Planning Manager will support the Director of Technology Strategy by working across the wider Technology organisation within Flutter International to define the Flutter Technology Strategy and ensure it is fully aligned to support business strategies. 

Reporting to the Director of Technology Strategy, this is a vital role helping shape strategic direction for the company.

Why we need you?

  • Play a strategic leadership role, focussed on all aspects of shaping and facilitating effective implementation of our Flutter International  technology strategy
  • Own analysis and shape end to end complex solutions through leading workshops, interviews, process descriptions and other methodologies as required
  • Be a trusted, objective strategic partner for making recommendations on critical decisions as required.
  • Partner with technology teams and the Director of Technology Strategy to develop strategic success factors on major strategic change and plans to achieve those success factors
  • Oversee the successful implementation of strategic change and help to maximize the positive impact on the organization.
  • Facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs and options to be progressed during the lifecycle of major strategic change.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure expectations, outcomes and impacts of strategic initiatives are clear and consistently understood.
  • Produce high quality, Ex-Co ready, outputs, proposals and status updates.
  • Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders within Flutter and across Divisions, up to and including CxO level
  • Support the Director of Technology Strategy to achieve the overall mission of the Technology Strategy & Programmes Team
  • Responsible for ensuring prioritised delivery roadmaps that support the Technology Strategy, are created, shared and tracked.
  • Become a valued partner of business stakeholders, proactively driving the process to the develop and update the Technology Strategy ensuring it supports and advances business strategies and goals.
  • Responsible for collating information and creating reports and insights to support Technology strategy development.
  • Contributes to the development of policies, standards and guidelines for strategy development and planning.
  • Supports the alignment of Technology budget with Technology strategy and delivery roadmaps

  • Excellent ability to co-ordinate multiple stakeholders, requirements and priorities
  • An excellent relationship builder and motivator who will thrive on working closely with internal teams and clients
  • Ability to work to exacting deadline
  • Strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong Program Management background with demonstrable experience of leading at scale to successfully deliver against strategic objectives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills 


  • Ideally will have Gaming or Bookmarking Industry Experience
