The role:

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer (StarsWeb) to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Bulgaria service office.

Our tech teams work remotely within Bulgaria, occasionally you’ll need to come to the office in Sofia. Not often, but up to 4-5 times a month and of course, we’ll cover all related expenses. Working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

Why we need you: –

You, as part of the Web Framework Development team at The Stars Group Sofia, will be joining a dynamic, exciting Agile team, working as a key part of a globally distributed development unit. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will work as part of the functional team that manages and delivers Software Development projects, ensuring deployments run smoothly and regressions are a rarity.

You will help the team identify functional problems and suggest resolutions. Assist in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. You’ll document, write & analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports. You will ensure testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards.

You should have experience in:

  • Testing clustered multi-tier systems including back-end REST applications
  • Testing front- end systems with frameworks such as Selenium Cypress.
  • Creating scripts designed to make regression testing fully automated.
  • Assisting in the analysis of test results.
  • Report on the results of testing in a manner consumable by technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Who are we looking for: 

You have proven work experience in software quality assurance and software development. You have worked with different automating testing tools and you are aware of the standard software QA methodologies, tools and processes. You have experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
You have hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing and testing software deployed in a clustered environment.
You have experience with the following technologies:

  • Selenium Cypress
  • Javascript (or at least willingness to learn)
  • Java / Python

You have excellent communication and organizational skills to distill reports on results. You have experience analyzing logs and performing post-test analysis. You have BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

Any gaming industry knowledge would be considered as a plus.
